In short

endofwork has no accounts and sets no cookies of its own. Your timer settings stay in your browser. The pages have no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.

What stays in your browser

Your country, city, working hours and days, clock format and light or dark theme are kept in your browser’s local storage, so the timer opens the way you left it. They are not sent to us. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes them.

Location

Only when you choose “Use device location” and allow it, your browser shares its position with BigDataCloud, which returns the place name so the timer can pick the nearest city on its list. We do not receive or store your coordinates.

Shared links

A countdown link you share holds the city and the local date and time you chose, so anyone who opens it sees them.

Hosting

Cloudflare hosts the site. To deliver the pages and protect the service, its servers process technical data such as your IP address and browser type, as any web host does.

Contact forms

If you report an issue, your message, the page you are on, your optional reply email and — if you leave the box ticked on a timer page — your timer settings (country, city, hours and working days) are emailed to the site owner. If you propose a partnership, your message, the topic, your email and the optional company or website are emailed in the same way, so we can reply.

The forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, loaded only when a form opens, to keep out automated spam. The server also uses your IP address, in hashed form, for short-term abuse limits; the address is not included in the email. A marker without your message is kept for up to 24 hours to prevent duplicate emails. Messages stay in the owner’s inbox until deleted.

To have a message deleted, write to us through the same form with enough detail to find it. Please do not send sensitive information.
